Week 3: Documentation and Reporting
Preparing survey reports, bills of lading, and certificates of inspection for shipping and insurance.
Week 4: Damage Assessment
Identifying cargo damage, determining causes (e.g., handling, transit), and assessing liability.
Week 5: Regulatory Compliance
Understanding customs regulations, hazardous material handling, and international shipping standards (e.g., IMO, IATA).
Week 6: Surveying Tools and Technology
Using tools like moisture meters, temperature gauges, and software for cargo assessment and documentation.
Week 7: Insurance and Claims Processing
Assisting with insurance claims, preparing evidence of damage, and coordinating with insurers.
Week 8: Final Project and Assessment
Completion of a comprehensive cargo survey project and preparation for the All India Trade Test (AITT) under NCVT.
